SERVICES FOR THE SMALL TO MEDIUM ENTERPRISES (SMEs)

Worldwide and Zimbabwe is no exception, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are a fast growing sector and an important source of inputs into larger scale enterprises. SMEs have the potential to contribute significantly to wealth and employment creation.

In order for SMEs to contribute significantly to economic growth, they need to enhance the quality and competitiveness of their products be they goods or services. The Standards Association of Zimbabwe (SAZ) has developed programmes aimed at enhancing the quality and competitiveness of SMEs. SAZ believes that if properly nurtured, SMEs can rise to be world class players.
