RESOURCE MATERIALS IN STANDARDS FORMULATION
Almost 99 percent of published SAZ standards are based on international,
regional and other foreign national standards. Where international, regional or foreign standards do not exist, company standards can be used as the basis
for national standards. If the subject under standardization is new, the information is extracted from research work. We do not reinvent the wheel
and we are not preparing “third world” standards. In order to foster international trade, the tendency nowadays is to adopt
international/regional standards where they exist.
