Standardization includes basic chemicals, their test methods, safety data sheets and chemicals such as detergents, disinfectants, water treatment chemicals that are not covered by any of the other technical committees. Scope of TC CH 001 excludes agro-chemicals, liquid & solid mineral fuels, plastics, paints, fertilizers and cosmetics that are covered by other SAZ technical committees.
