Organisations that want to demonstrate their commitment to information security, cybersecurity and privacy protection should look to certification to ISO/IEC 27001. ISO/IEC 27001 provides guidance to an organisation in determination, assessment and treatment of information security risks tailored to the needs of the organization. SAZ offers certification to ISO/IEC 27001 for the currrent 2022 version. For those organisations certified to the 2013 version their certificates are valid till 30 October 2025 and are expected to have transitioned to the 2022 version by that date.
